I think this pattern is so very pretty. You can find this pattern by Lee Hye-oon on page 37 of Lovely Tatting Doilies for Spring and Summer. There are many other pretty patterns in this book.
I used Lizbeth Size 40 cotton threads in Col. 699 Harvest Gold and Col. 667 Orchid Green Medium. I think this would look great in any other colour combination. What colours would you use?

I started Anya again. This time in Flora size 20 in Col. 224 and Col. 211. The next round will be tatted in Col. 207. The colour change does not look obvious in this photo. The original Anya will be completed too but I have not got to it yet as I was trying to finish Frances. Tatting has been slow.

From left to right: Shimmering Droplets Honeysuckle Pink, Eternity Silver Spacer, Magnolia Bloom Duo Dangle, Eternity Silver Spacer and Dazzling Floral Charm.
I love how this turned out. I think the strong colour of the spacer really makes a difference here. I love the cabochons in the Shimmering Droplets and Dazzling Floral charms.

I now realise that the pattern correction was actually for R13 not R3. See previous posts and the comments.
If you have Lee Hye-oon's book Lovely Tatting Doilies for Fall and Winter, please note this pattern correction before tatting.
I completed Round 14 and was tatting Round 15 before realising this. I did not want to cut off 2 rounds of tatting to correct it. So this version of Anya stops here. I may start a new one later, perhaps an ombre one as initially planned. Now I know exactly where to switch the colours. Happy Tatting!

I managed to take some photos before my phone battery died. I think these are dahlias. Mom planted some in her garden at the foot of Maxwell Hill, but they never looked like these. Aren't they pretty? These are from the Flower Dome. Will post more photos of the flowers I saw soon.

After blocking, the 'spokes' are much straighter. Yes, thank you for your wonderful comments. I am beginning to like this thread colour combination. The next round will be a little different as we move into a new design element. I am excited.
Do you see the bi-colour split ring where I climb up to the next round? I was too lazy to do otherwise. Tell me it is not too obvious. 😸
